Annie Whitford

Product Manager & Activist

Annie Whitford is an associate director of product at The American Civil Liberties Union and is passionate about using technology as a medium for education and a catalyst for activism. Prior to working at The ACLU, she was an early team member at the Casper mattress startup and went on to lead the Digital Product team on Cory Booker’s 2020 campaign for president. In May of 2020 she was a panelist at the Higher Ground Labs 2020 Insights: Presidential Primary Debrief. She received her BA in both organizational behavior studies and dance performance studies from Pitzer College in 2015 where she studied the impacts of incarceration on the body and the use of dance movement as a form of healing.
